Venue

The venue of the Conference is the International Olympic Academy (https://www.ioa.org.gr/), situated in Ancient Olympia, Greece. The Academy is

located next to the Stadium of the Ancient Olympic Games, 1.2 km from the Olympia village and within walking distance from the Archaeological site and the Stadium of the Ancient Olympic Games, also near the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of the History of the Olympic Games of Antiquity.
sprawled around an area of 400.000m² and hosting the Stele where the heart of Pierre de Coubertin rests.

The Academy offers excellent opportunities for conferences and meetings, sports and recreation facilities. In summary, the Academy includes:

accommodations for 117 participants;
a 420-seat modern amphitheater;
a variety of conference rooms seating from 20-40 and 40-100;
a library of more than 30,000 Olympic and sport-themed book titles;
a restaurant with180 participant capacity; and
the historic Archive-Hall of the ‘Athens 2004’ Olympic Games.
